Next week sees a first for me - I am going to be an "official blogger" at the Social Media World Forum over at Olympia. I have been blogging for over three years, but this is the first time that I have this 'honour'.
What it means is that I have a access to get into all areas of this fantastic looking conference/exhibition, to make sure I get as much information as I can to share with you over the coming weeks, on success stories, new social media tools/platforms and innovation in general. This is what I can expect:
- To hear from leading social networks on their strategy, revenue models and how they are approaching the future
- Listen to worldwide case studies from global brands and corporations on their use of social media and how they can be the ideal place to build a brand
- Learn how advertisers are approaching social networking and how they are establishing and generating revenue streams
- Find out how content providers are approaching social networks, their strategy and development
- Examine the current market conditions, future forecasts and predictions from leading analysts
I for one am looking forward to seeing innovation and some solid social media case studies - hopefully some involving social recruiting (although I am not banking on that!)
So if you are going, and would like to meet up, just let me know (email, phone or via Twitter - up to you) - it would be great to meet you.
You can follow the event via Twitter by following the hashtag #SMWF - which of course I will be using during the event.
