A good employer brand is, very simply, gold dust to an employer when it comes to recruitment. Self explanatory I hear you say? Maybe, but then why do so many organisations take this subject matter so lightly?
The big 'sexy' brands, like Google, Virgin and Apple take it very seriously indeed - after all, they all want to attract the very best talent to continue to keep their innovation (and profits!) moving upwards.
Another example of employer brand innovation is Intel. They have created the strap line:
Our team players aren't like your team players: Intel Sponsors of Tomorrow
I love this, three words - Sponsors of Tomorrow - that immediately evokes thoughts of a great concept; we are the future, you need to be working for us.
And with it came a couple of clever videos:
And they have some rock stars as well.....
Which other brands hit the spot for you when it comes to employer brand positioning?
